It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price tag. Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your entire house in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and set up virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that require extra attention. 2. Roborock Q Revo Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad. The only downside is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level. As for the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, generate very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and then move away whenever it comes across one. The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's clutter that must be cleared out regularly, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can need. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.
